Dubrovnik – Sports and Entertainment Law

Description

ELSA Croatia would like to invite you to its second edition of Winter ELSA Law School on Sports and Entertainment Law that will be held in Dubrovnik, the most magical city of Croatia.

The entertainers and superstars whom we love to watch on television and the big screen often have a team of lawyers behind the scenes, negotiating deals and resolving disputes. Due to its dynamic nature, entertainment law encompasses a wide variety of legal fields that you will have the opportunity to learn about with our phenomenal lecturers. Sports law involves issues that relate to professional or Olympic athletes, and it also relates to laws that govern youth and amateur sports. You will have the opportunity to listen to lectures by top experts in Sports law and hear interesting facts from the perspective of professional athletes.

Jutting out into the Adriatic Sea with a backdrop of rugged limestone mountains, Dubrovnik Old Town is known as one of the world's finest and perfectly preserved medieval cities in the world. This worldwide known city was the main filming location in Croatia for King’s Landing, a fictional city in Game of Thrones, the famous television series based on the series of fantasy novels “A Song of Ice and Fire” and distributed by HBO. For those who have seen the series and are passionate about it, a visit to Dubrovnik will become a beautiful déjà vu because of the way in which it was so well integrated into the setting of the series.

If all this sounds interesting for you, ELSA Croatia is here to answer your questions anytime.

We are happily waiting for your applications!
