SELS Copenhagen on Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management
ELSA Copenhagen is proud to present its 14th edition of its Summer ELSA Law School, taking place on August 03 - 10, 2025. In this SELS, you are invited to a week in Scandinavia filled with exciting learnings on Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management combined with all Copenhagen’s recreational activities.
The academic programme of this SELS will focus on Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management. The participants will visit law firms, organisations, and public authorities to get a first-hand insight into how they work with dispute resolution and conflict management. Some of the topics that you will learn more about include conflict resolution in an international and comparative perspective, conflict resolution in practice and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
During the cultural and social programme, participants will get a taste of Copenhagen’s everyday life and get to enjoy many social activities such as sightseeing, a cocktail course, and an amazing gala ball (optional). While discovering Copenhagen or partying with the other participants, you have the chance to create connections and friendships for life as well as unforgettable memories. The academic programme provides a comprehensive introduction to dispute resolution and conflict management, combining theoretical insights with practical applications. Designed as an opportunity to acquire intermediate-level knowledge, the programme allows participants to engage with leading academics and practitioners while gaining hands-on experience through workshops, court simulations, and visits to key legal and professional institutions, including law firms, institutes, a city court, and an organisation.
