ELSA Azerbaijan is excited to announce the 7th edition of the Winter ELSA Law School, which will take place from February 08 - February 15, 2026, in the stunning city of Gabala!

This event offers an incredible opportunity to dive into Contract Law, guided by legal experts from top law firms in Azerbaijan. Throughout the week, you’ll participate in engaging lectures, hands-on workshops, and a Moot Court Simulation which are designed to give you a solid understanding of Contract Law and current issues.

But it’s not just about academics! Gabala is surrounded by the stunning Caucasus Mountains, making it one of the best spots for skiing in the region. Gabala also has a thriving winemaking tradition, giving you the chance to enjoy some local wines! WELS Gabala offers a comprehensive Academic Programme focused on contract law, covering essential principles, international perspectives, and practical applications. The programme features lectures on foundational concepts, including the elements of contracts and international contract law, as well as sessions on electronic contracts and digital signatures, NDAs and data protection clauses in international contracts, continuation of obligations after termination of contracts and the legal implications of non-compete conditions.

Additionally, participants will engage in a case study analysing client interests in contract drafting, participate in a panel discussion on contractual disputes and alternative dispute resolution, and gain hands-on experience through a moot court session, where they will navigate legal proceedings and contract disputes.
