This year ELSA Novi Sad will host its' first Summer ELSA Law School, from 1st until the 8th of August 2018. The topic will be Human Rights Protection in domestic and international law systems and judicial instances, with focus on European Convention on Human Rights. Throughout 10 lectures given by eminent professors and NGO members from Serbia and other countries, students will be able to learn more about this complex topic.

Along with rich academic programme, students will be able to experience Novi Sad and a couple of other locations in the region of Vojvodina, which will be followed by a different themed party each night, with the gala ball being held on the last night.

Day 1- 1st Lecture- Overview of the most important cases of European Court of Human Rights regarding article 2 and 3- Tibor Varadi ;

2nd lecture- History of Human Rights protection around the world

Day 2- 1st Lecture- Interpretation of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms- prof.dr. Rodoljub Etinski ;

2nd lecture- Comparative insight of international protection of human rights and protection of human rights in law system of Serbia- prof. dr. Sanja Djajić

Day 3- 1st Lecture- EU accession acquis and its influence over the human rights protection in Western Balkans;

2nd Lecture- High commissioner for human rights in Council of Europe and its competences

Day 4- 1st Lecture- The role of UN Human Rights Committee on equal respect for human rights in countries currently in war

2nd Lecture- The rights of dignity and justice in third-world countries

Day 5- 1st Lecture- Constitutional protection of human rights in European law systems- Stefan Dugajlić,
