Topic of this year school is on International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights
In everyday life, we are witnesses of the terrible consequences that are caused by war, armed conflicts and migrant crises all over the world. We also know that institutions in that domain are doing their best to prevent major contempt of international Humanitarian law, but sometimes things happen just the way we do not want it, and we have a situations that feature multiple violations of human rights with disastrous aftermath.
So, If you want to get to know basic human rights and how to protect them, the way, migration law, how to deal with humanitarian crisis and preventing them . All of that with the help of our lecturers with many years of experience working on subjects related to this topic.

Academic programme includes lectures of the main aspects of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. For this project as one of the lecturer we managed to bring one of the former presidents of Croatia, ( that has enormus experience in this part of Law). As well, we have also prepared interesting lecturers , lawyers that were involved in cases of humanitarian law and were working on cases related to International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) , still active politicians connected with this topic, professors from Zagreb , Osijek and Split Law University.

- Institutions and their contribution in protecting fundamental Human Rights
- Legislative framework on Humanitarian Law
- Presentation and discussion of the cases from ICTY
- Assesing the legacy of the ICTY
- Asylum and migrations
- Public International Law

- Arms control treaties and agreements
- Aplicability of IHL in Peace Support Operations
