ELSA Osijek, the local group of ELSA Croatia, presents you the Winter ELSA Law School Osijek on Human Rights and Protection of Marginalised Social Groups. WELS Osijek will take place from February 16 - 25, 2025.

Osijek is a small city located on the Drava River, in the region of Slavonia, known for its excellent food, golden fields, drinks, good music, beer, rich history and the city's culture, such as the Tvrđa, which represents the heart of the city and a legacy from the Ottoman Empire. Osijek is also characterized by long promenades along the Drava River, numerous green forests, and beautiful nature. It is an extremely safe city, allowing you to move freely at any time of day.

Dear future participants, this Academic Programme will impress you with the variety of topics related to recent geopolitical events. This Winter ELSA Law School will provide you with an unforgettable experience in this small Croatian region known for its numerous food specialties, good wine and even better folk music. The Academic Programme of the Winter ELSA Law School will focus on Human Rights and various marginalized social groups, such as women’s rights, femicide, children, war civilians, migrants, and national minorities, as well as the limitations of Human rights during the COVID-19 pandemic.
