SELS Barcelona on Alternative Dispute Resolution
ELSA Barcelona-UB is very excited to introduce its first edition Summer ELSA Law School, which will take place in the vibrant city of Barcelona from July 6th to July 13th, 2025. Hosted at the University of Barcelona, one of the most prestigious universities in Europe, this event offers a unique opportunity for law students to sharpen their legal skills and connect with professionals, scholars and fellow students, deepening their knowledge of this growing field and gaining real-world experience.
This SELS focuses on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), an area in which Catalunya has a long-standing tradition and leadership, making it an ideal location to explore this subject. The programme, designed for intermediate complexity, is structured to be comprehensive, covering different fields of law where alternative dispute resolution may be a very useful tool for professionals to be trained. We’ve gathered institutions, academics, associations of professionals and renowned experts in the national field to offer you the best academic programme we are capable of providing.
The experience will be complemented by a dynamic cultural and social programme, giving participants the chance to explore the city’s rich history, experience its vibrant culture, and connect with fellow students. Throughout the week, participants will take part in a variety of activities, including guided city tours showcasing the city's iconic architecture and hidden gems, tapas nights offering a taste of local flavours and traditions, and networking events designed to foster meaningful connections, making this an unforgettable week.
