Description

ELSA Azerbaijan invites you to the 9th edition of the Summer ELSA Law School, which is taking place from July 6 to 13, 2025, in Baku. Known for its blend of ancient charm and modern energy, Baku is the perfect setting to explore Azerbaijan's unique cultural heritage. Azerbaijan is a significant global supplier of oil and gas with vast reserves that have played a crucial role in its economic development. The country’s strategic position between Europe and Asia has made it a key player in the energy market, and its oil and gas industries continue to drive growth and attract international investment. With a unique mix of Eastern and Western influences, it is a land where tradition meets innovation.

This is your chance to dive into the world of Business Law, learning from top legal experts at some of Azerbaijan’s leading law firms such as Deloitte Azerbaijan, Turan Legal and Tax Services, and Legalize. Throughout the week, you'll take part in engaging lectures, interactive workshops, and even a Moot Court Simulation, all designed to give you a solid understanding of Business Law and the issues shaping it today.

Beyond the academic programme, Baku offers a fascinating cultural experience. You’ll get to explore the historic Icherisheher, including the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, both now listed among UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. For a perfect mix of fun and relaxation, you’ll also enjoy the peaceful shores of the Caspian Sea and the thrilling Highland Park, where you can take in breathtaking views of the city.

Join us for an unforgettable week filled with learning, adventure, and new friendships!
