WELS Gabala on International Trade Law and Arbitration
ELSA Azerbaijan is proud to present the 8th edition of the Winter ELSA Law School, taking place from February 7 - 14, 2027. This year marks a landmark transformation for our flagship winter event, with a complete rebrand and a dynamic new topic: International Trade Law and Arbitration. Located in the breathtaking Caucasus mountains, Gabala is an ancient capital and a historic Silk Road hub at the crossroads of Europe and Asia. Studying cross-border commerce and dispute resolution here perfectly bridges Azerbaijan’s rich trade heritage with modern global legal practice.
Our Academic Programme provides a comprehensive dive into International Trade Law and Arbitration. Guided by legal experts, you will explore the fundamentals of global commerce and arbitration through engaging lectures and apply your new knowledge through an Arbitration Simulation.
But it’s not just about academics! After kicking off in vibrant Baku, our Social & Cultural Programme takes you to the snowy Gabala to experience thrilling winter sports, cultural excursions, local wine tastings, and unforgettable parties.
We can't wait to welcome you for a week of inspiring academic sessions, snowy adventures, and lifelong friendships!
