Braga – Law and Bioethics

Description

ELSA UMinho is proud to present the 10th edition of SELS Braga on Law and Bioethics, which will take place from July 21 - 28, 2024. Our SELS will be held in Braga, also known as Portuguese Rome, but you will also have the opportunity to visit nearby cities, giving you a complete minhota experience.

Our Academic Programme will centre on the complexities of Bioethics and its intersection with various fields, including Law. Through collaboration with the Law School of the University of Minho, we plan to offer you over 20 hours of panels, conferences, and lectures designed to introduce Participants to key issues in Law and Bioethics and facilitate their understanding of this interdisciplinary subject.

Braga boasts a vibrant atmosphere, blending ancient traditions with modern life. ELSA UMinho is committed to providing a taste of Braga's cultural richness, including participating in local festivals, savouring traditional Portuguese cuisine, and exploring the city's picturesque landscapes. Our Social Programme promises a week filled with engaging activities to ensure your experience in Braga will be truly unforgettable.
