Madrid – Technology Law

Description

ELSA Madrid-UAX of the Alfonso X el Sabio University is organising its first-ever Summer ELSA Law School, which will be taking place between July 7 - 14, 2024. This SELS will be held in the city centre of Madrid, the Capital city of Spain. Participants will be able to experience Madrid in all its splendour with the vibrant sun and the hot weather while delving into a full week of Spanish culture.

Our SELS will give Participants the amazing opportunity to study and learn about Technology Law, which is a trending topic nowadays as the influence of technology and artificial intelligence has arisen. Therefore, the focus of the Academic Programme is centred on how technology is currently affecting our world, especially in the legal field. Through a series of lectures, workshops, and institutional visits, we plan to improve Participants' legal knowledge and bring them in contact with legal institutions, law firms and experts in the field, from Europe and South America, making Madrid the perfect place to study Technology Law.

Spanish people are known for their culture and history and our purpose is to give Participants a good introduction to life in Spain and especially, Madrid. To do this, we have filled our Social & Cultural Programme with interesting activities that will most likely make our Participants' week in Madrid unforgettable. By attending SELS Madrid, Participants will experience Spain’s culture, enjoy our gastronomy, and visit the most popular landmarks of Madrid.

To conclude, our SELS is the perfect combination of learning more about Technology Law, meeting new people from different countries, and enjoying a week in sunny Madrid!
