Salerno – Intellectual Property between Creation and Protection

Description

ELSA Salerno is organising the 8th edition of Summer ELSA Law School Salerno on Intellectual Property: Between Creation & Protection. This topic has been chosen for the 2nd consecutive edition due to the success it experienced last year. Supported by the University of Salerno, our Summer Law School will take place from June 30 - July 7, 2024.

Our Academic Programme will provide Participants with a thorough legal and economic analysis of innovation from various perspectives, broadening their understanding of a rather complex topic. From intellectual property issues, the structure of new digital markets, and the protection of creations,  to the new frontiers of the economy and entrepreneurship in online and offline worlds, Participants will get to dive deep into the topic. The lectures will be delivered by professionals from prominent Italian and European universities and law firms, offering insights into the legal and economic aspects of key topics in the innovation landscape.

Apart from providing Participants with a rich Academic Programme, ELSA Salerno plans on offering Participants cultural and social activities that will encourage networking and create cherished memories. Among the most amazing and valuable aspects of ELSA is the possibility to meet new people, spend fun moments with them, create beautiful memories, and make friends from all over the world! All these, combined with the warmth of the Italian sun, cuisine, and beautiful culture ensure a truly unforgettable summer experience!
