Academic Programme

The Summer Law School on International Investment Law is co-organized annually, since 2016, by ELSA Athens and the Athens Public International Law Center (Athens PIL) of the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a view to provide participating students from all over the world with a comprehensive understanding of international investment law, as well as the capacity to locate and compare the various approaches taken by arbitral tribunals and understand the different aspects and controversies of the discipline. The 2025 Edition will consist of 6 days of interactive lectures and workshops, so as to provide participants with all the essential tools to grasp the key aspects of international investment law, while also addressing some of the currently “hottest topics” of the field. In this respect, renowned scholars and practitioners will guide participants through the fascinating universe of international investment law, while a skills training workshop will further enhance the educational objectives of the project.
