ELSA UMinho is proud to present the 11th edition of SELS Braga, which will take place from July 13 - 20, 2025. Our SELS will be held in Braga, also known as Portuguese Rome, but you will also have the opportunity to visit nearby cities, giving you a complete minho experience.

Our Academic Programme will centre on the Artificial Intelligence and its intersection with various fields, including mostly Law. Through collaboration with the Law School of the University of Minho, we plan to offer you over 20 hours of panels, conferences, and lectures designed to introduce Participants to key issues in the Artificial Intelligence and facilitate their understanding of this subject.

Braga boasts a vibrant atmosphere, blending ancient traditions with modern life. ELSA UMinho is committed to providing a taste of Braga's cultural richness, including participating in local festivals, savouring traditional Portuguese cuisine, and exploring the city's picturesque landscapes. Our main Academic Partner, the University of Minho, in partnership with other prestigious academic institutions, the programme adopts a transdisciplinary approach, allowing participants to explore the multiple facets of artificial intelligence and its relationship with Law and other areas of knowledge. Our Academic Programme is directed for students and young legal professionals seeking to deepen their knowledge of the intersection between artificial intelligence and law. The central objective of this program is to provide a comprehensive and critical view of the legal and ethical challenges that emerge from the use of artificial intelligence in various areas.
