ELSA MORE is organising its fifth Summer ELSA Law School, which will take place from July 13 – 20, 2025. This SELS will be held in Modena, the "Land of Motors".

Our SELS will give you the opportunity to study the Automotive in the beating heart of the global automotive industry. Modena has always been a center of excellence in the automotive industry, with activities ranging from luxury car manufacturing and motorsport to innovation in electric and autonomous vehicles.

Participants will deepen their legal knowledge of this field by attending insightful lectures and exclusive visits. Modena is home to numerous institutions, law firms, and industry specialists, making it the perfect place to explore Automotive Law in a dynamic and cutting-edge environment.

Our main academic partner, the Modena Centre for Automotive Law, will provide you with different approaches to Automotive Law, focusing on the legal framework governing the automotive industry at both national and international level.

The rest of the week will be filled with substantive legal topics, such as environmental challenges in the automotive sector, regulations on autonomous and electric vehicles, intellectual property in car manufacturing, and product liability. You will also explore the intersection of law, innovation, and sustainability in one of the world’s most renowned automotive hubs.

Additionally, there will be a career orientation session hosted by Ferrari, where participants will gain valuable insights into the role of corporate lawyers in the automotive industry and the legal challenges faced by global car manufacturers.
