We are delighted to welcome you to the 8th edition of Summer ELSA Law School Tbilisi on Intellectual Property Law, in cooperation with the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia, taking place from July 05 - 12, 2025! Nowadays, Intellectual Property Law is one of the fastest growing areas of law in today’s digital age. Intellectual Property Law is essential for creators, businesses, and consumers alike. Technology gives us unique tools to express ourselves as a work of art, and at the same time, the risk that one's creation will be infringed is as high as ever. 

Have you ever wondered what the legal term Copyright refers to and where the magic of this mysterious symbol “©” starts? What kind of rights do the creators have over their literary and artistic works? As an author, what rights do you have over your creations, and what responsibilities do you have as a consumer of others' work?
