ELSA WU Wien and ELSA Linz are thrilled to announce our upcoming Summer ELSA Law School! From July 1 - 8, 2024, Participants will be able to immerse themselves in the charm of not just one but two beautiful Austrian cities!

Our journey commences in Linz, nestled along the tranquil Danube River, boasting idyllic streets, historical treasures and a vibrant cultural tapestry. Following three nights in Linz, we embark on a voyage to Vienna, Austria's majestic capital, renowned for its opulent architecture, captivating scenery and famed coffeehouse culture, featuring delectable treats such as Sachertorte and Apfelstrudel.

Delving into the pivotal themes of Diplomacy & AI, our SELS promises a captivating exploration into these increasingly important realms. Through a blend of comprehensive workshops, insightful lectures, and immersive visits to esteemed institutions, we aim to provide profound insights into both fields independently as well as their synergistic interplay.

Beyond academia, our Programme offers a delightful immersion into Austrian culture. Indulge in Austrian cuisine, behold iconic landmarks like the illustrious Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, and partake in evenings brimming with the possibility of new friendships and amusement through our engaging social agenda.

In Linz, our Programme will immerse Participants in the captivating world of Artificial Intelligence (AI), starting with a comprehensive introduction to this cutting-edge field. From there, Participants will delve into crucial topics such as anti-discrimination and copyright while also exploring the intricate legal and technical facets that shape AI’s impact. 

As we transition to Vienna, our focus will shift towards the diplomatic reals. Engaging lectures will illuminate the complexities of international business relationships and cross-border employment, providing Participants with invaluable knowledge in this area. Additionally, Participants will have the extraordinary opportunity to visit two esteemed institutions: the historic Parliament of Austria and the forward-thinking European Space Policy Institute.
