WELS Split on Humanitarian Law and Human Rights

Description

In the historic Croatian city of Split, where ancient heritage meets Mediterranean vibrancy, ELSA Split will host the 6th edition of the Winter ELSA Law School on Humanitarian Law and Human Rights from March 1 - March 8, 2026. This distinguished programme brings together law students from all across Europe.

For one incredible week, you’ll dive deep into the world of Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, exploring some of our time's most important legal challenges - such as discrimination, migration, protection of fundamental human rights, and much more. Through engaging lectures, interactive workshops, and exciting discussions led by professionals, academics, and practitioners, you’ll strengthen your knowledge, sharpen your skills, and gain practical insights into one of the most impactful areas of international law.

But WELS Split is so much more than academics! Imagine walking through the ancient streets of the UNESCO-listed Diocletian’s Palace, enjoying the vibrant Riva promenade, or soaking up breathtaking views from Marjan Hill. With our exciting social programme, you’ll experience the best of Dalmatian culture while building lifelong friendships and connecting with fellow future legal professionals from all over Europe.

The Winter ELSA Law School Split has become a tradition that law students look forward to year after year. Now it’s your turn to be part of it! Challenge yourself, broaden your horizons, and make March 2026 truly unforgettable.
